Shipping and returns
Every printed book is made to order, often with your name on it. Here's how shipping, changes and replacements work.
Where we ship
Printed books ship to addresses in the United States. We don't ship outside the US yet. The fillable PDFs work anywhere.
How long it takes
Books are printed to order. Printed in 3–5 business days; tracked delivery usually within 2 weeks. We'll email you tracking when your book ships.
What shipping costs
- The Family File, the Next Steps File and the Complete Set ship free within the US.
- Family File Essentials ships for $5.95 per order, and free when your order includes any other printed book.
Gifts
Any printed book can ship to someone else with your note, at no extra charge. Enter their address as the shipping address at checkout. One order ships to one address, so check out separately for each person.
PDF downloads
Your download buttons appear on the page you land on right after checkout. Bookmark it: the link works for a year from your purchase. If you lose it, email [email protected] from the address you ordered with and we'll send a new one.
Changes and cancellations
If you need to fix the name for the cover or the shipping address, email [email protected] as soon as possible. We'll do our best, but once a book has gone to print we can't change or cancel it.
Damaged, misprinted or lost books
If your book arrives damaged or misprinted, or doesn't arrive, email [email protected] within 30 days of delivery (or of the expected delivery date) with your order number and, for damage or misprints, a photo. We'll send a replacement at no cost.
Returns
Because each book is printed to order, often with your name on the cover, we can't accept returns of books that arrive as ordered.
If the fillable PDF won't open or doesn't work for you, email us within 30 days. We'll help you get it working, and if we can't, we'll refund the PDF.
Pro Edition orders
Co-branded and bulk orders follow the terms in your quote and invoice.
